Last week I attended a four day marketing conference. I was blown away with all the trainings they provided and the valuable information I came away with.
I was able to meet so many fabulous people and build my community which was awesome.
In almost 30 years of being in business I've never attended a conference where everyone was truly looking to learn and share their knowledge and expertise.
In one of my other posts I talked about what freelancing is and shared an infographic with you. If you didn’t see it follow this link….
When you think about freelancing what perks come to your mind?
1) Choosing your own hours?
2) No need to make that dreaded “call in sick”?
3) Loving the projects you choose to work on?
4) Working with clients who really appreciate your work?
The list could go on and on.
I think we'd all agree that everyday we are bombarded with emails, commercials, advertisements etc. What is it that captures our attention and makes us listen?
Watch this TED talk given by Seth Godin and find out....
At a networking event I sponsored I met a woman who said she was a coach. As the conversation progressed she started telling me how she was doing resumes for her clients. Here’s the interesting thing. She didn’t mention once how she “coached” her clients just the projects she was doing for them.
