When it comes to story telling there are a variety of ways you can accomplish this.
Of course one of the ways is video.

Facebook Anthology

In the past episodes I mentioned how Vista Print used story telling in one of their commercials.

Video and story telling go hand in hand.

Recently I found an article:Anthology: “Helping Brands Tell Stories Through Video Ad Content”  on Facebook’s site and was really excited to see this.

What is anthology?  According to the article: “It’s a new group of leading video publishers who together with Facebook Creative Shop, will work with brands to produce outstanding advertising content for Facebook.”

This doesn’t mean you can’t work with our company to help you produce ads for your videos.  You are still free to do that.

What this does mean is that your business needs to be creating videos.

Videos help your business with online exposure.  Let’s face it even if you own a brick and mortar store people are searching everyday for products and services.  Your business needs to be visible and searchable online.

Video marketing is a powerful way to achieve your online goals and truly connect with consumers locally, globally, 24/7.

In this post I’ll share 3 reasons videos work so well.

Search Engines: The major search engines index videos with the appropriate keywords.  That means if someone is searching online for your type of product or service, your videos may come up if they are properly optimized.

As video creators we know search engine optimization is important and we use our skills to make sure your videos have all the proper elements in place.  This will help get your video listed high in the search results.

Keep in mind that Google loves video and places a high priority on them.

People Love Video: YouTube receives over 4 Billion views a day.  Obviously people love video!  YouTube is the second most used site for searches, trailing behind Google.
Here are a few statistics you should also know about video:

  1. The average user spends 88% more time on a website with video
  2. People are 72% more likely to purchase a product or service when video is used.
  3. Video improves the retention of a subject or product by 51% over printed material.
Millions Shared Online:  Have you ever seen a video on your newsfeed that someone has shared?  When people find an interesting video they share it with friends, family and colleagues.

Video sharing will continue to grow as more and more people use their mobile devices to share.

In another post I will share 3 other reasons to use video so make sure you stop back.

Are you using video as part of your marketing strategy?
