First and foremost you wan to make sure the page meets the users expectation.
When running your A/B test you want to keep track of the load time of the page because that can affect your results.
Have you ever gone to a page and it took too long to load? What happens? Do you wait or do you decide it's not worth it and leave.? You don't want people feeling that way about your page.

Want to test the speed of your site? Go to: http://tools.pingdom.com and you will find out how fast your page loads. The best speed is 0-3 seconds.
Performing an A/B test is also a great way to find out if your squeeze page is performing the way to want it to. When you have two variations it lets you know which converts better. Browser issues may not be something you've thought of but it does make sense to see how your pages look in different browsers. For example you might put a header on your website and it displays differently in different browsers. Knowing that can help you make the proper adjustments so your website visitors get the best possible experience on your site.
