Have you ever done and search, landed on page and couldn't help but investigate further what it was all about? If so then this person has captured your attention. It's what every business owner wants. Engagement. The problem is too many websites try to cram everything into their home page which leaves you with a long boring letter that makes you want to take a nap!
In this infographic you will find some great tips for crafting your page so that you get the maximum benefits.
The best thing for you to do is test. Try writing copy that is long. If you don't get the desired results then try to shorten and copy.
As with all your content you need to make it as engaging as possible so make sure you have visuals. Many people simply skim a page but if you use visuals it will not only capture their attention but they will be more likely to remember you because of it. Visuals whether video, images logo etc help create memorable marketing. You want your website visitors to think of you, your products and services when they are ready to move forward.
It's important to realize in marketing that there are 5 stages a person goes through.
1) Most aware
2) Product Aware
3) Solution Aware
4) Problem Aware
5) Completely Unaware
Your copy should help you website visitors along these different stages.
As the infographic states you need to write enough copy to convert your visitors into customers or subscribers.
Test, test, test.
What do you find works for your website copy?
