When I took marketing my business into my own hands years ago one of the first things I did was invest in SEO training. It was one of the best investments I could have made.
As a visual marketing strategist point number 7 was really interesting to me: "High quality content that contains visual media elements like videos, images and graphics are high performing assets that are top ranking factors for 2014 and will continue in 2015 and in the coming years."
People respond better to visual information than plain text.
Images are a way to communicate your message.
Visuals on your website can increase monthly unique visitors by up to 300%.
The types of images you can use in your visual marketing strategy are unlimited.
Here are a few ideas:
1) Stock photography
2) Your own photography
6) Hand drawn graphics
Your visual marketing strategy should tie in with everything you are doing in your marketing already.
Creating your own images can be fun and rewarding. There are a lot of ways you can create your own images. You can go to sites like Canva.com but what really sets you apart is learning PhotoShop.
Hands down that's been another one of my best training investments.
