![]() When I entered the A to Z Blog Challenge I knew when I got to the letter X it would be a tough one. Then I found this word: Xography. As an award winning photographer it was the perfect one for me. So what is Xography?
According to one definition it is: A system of photography which produces prints and transparencies with a three dimensional effect. A cylindrically embossed reticular screen is placed in contact with the film and a shutter behind the lens is arranged to scan the subject during exposure. I looked for an example to show you but couldn't find one.
I seem to recall many years ago when digital cameras started becoming really popular that a photographer said he was buying up as much film as he could because he used it in a unique way. Was he using this process? I'm not sure. Photography has come a long way and with people being able to use their cell phones as cameras it's opened the door to much creativity.
Just think about all the food bloggers who can pull out their cell phones take a photo of the recent creation and post that to their blog, instagram, Facebook, etc.
Photography is playing a larger role in blog posts today. Blog posts with images are shared more than text only posts. It's a great time to start showing your creativity!
